An avid researcher for over thirty years, Randy Whited is active in the genealogical community. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors of the Federation of Genealogical Societies, Randy was recently elected President of the Texas State Genealogical Society.

    Have fun and raise funds for PfISD scholarships! The 2nd annual Noah's Wings 5K will be on Sunday, February 21st at 1pm at Lake Pflugerville. This 5K is a fun family time for runners and walkers of any fitness level. We will have entertainment, catering, prize drawings, and medals for our top adult/child finishers.     Join Hopeton Hay of KAZI Book Review for an interview with Dr. Kevin Cokley, author of The Myth of Black Anti-Intellectualism: A True Psychology of African American Students. Kevin Cokley is a Professor of Counseling Psychology and African and African Diaspora Studies at the UT-Austin and the Director of the Institute for Urban Policy Research & Analysis. His research and teaching can be broadly categorized in the area of African American psychology. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Black Psychology. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2014 Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Award. He has written several Op-Eds in outlets including the St. Louis Post Dispatch, Dallas Morning News, the Huffington Post and The Hill. KAZI Book Review, hosted by Hopeton Hay, airs on 88.7 FM and streams online. It features interviews with authors of an array of recently published fiction and nonfiction books. Anyone 18 & up may attend. Refreshments will be provided.
