    Join us for an Evening of Music at the First United Methodist Church - Family Life Center. Worship Leader Ryan McDaniel will perform original songs on various instruments accompanied by several musicians. Sponsored by Pflugerville Arts Council 501(c)(3) Organization. The concert is FREE, but donations will be gratefully accepted for the Methodist Congo Project

  1. Creative Art Society (CAS) Show at the Library

    July 20 - September 25

    The Creative Arts Society is pleased to present a new art show hosted by the Pflugerville Public Library. The theme for the show is ‘Travel’ and consists of over eighty works of art by nineteen area artists. Each work depicts the artists’ experiences and travels; from India to France to Scotland to Tanzania and from the mountains of Colorado to the beaches of Hawaii. The media used by the artists include oils, acrylics, photographs and collage. The show is open during library hours through September 25, 2015 The Creative Arts Society (CAS) is an Austin based 501c3 not-for-profit arts organization. Their membership includes artists from throughout the Central Texas area and is open to anyone and everyone with an interest in furthering the arts. (http://creativeartssociety.org/)

    See the library's 3D printers in action, including our new model that prints in two colors. Learn about where to get ready-to-print 3D models and where you can design your own models from scratch. All ages are welcome. Printed samples will be available while supplies last.

    Informal conversational English class for English learners. Basic skills are required. There will not be formal instruction; this is a casual, comfortable way to improve your speaking fluency.

    Michael Hurd of Cinnaman Cheesecakes will share tips and techniques for making the perfect cheesecake. He will also have samples of several flavors available while supplies last. Anyone 18 and up is welcome.
