  1. Early Pfarmer's Market

    April 28, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Green Red Barn

    The mission of the Pflugerville Pfarmers Market is to bring fresh, locally grown and prepared foods to the Pflugerville community. Vendors sell a variety of produce including tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, squash, okra, garlic, melons, peaches and grapes; artisan baked goods; honey; flowers; eggs; free-range meats; jarred salsas, pickles and jams; fruits and plants. Craft items are also available for purchase, and live music is on site on selected dates. Cash is preferred. Credit card purchases depend on the vendor's capability. Some of the vendors are now accepting WIC vouchers. Contact Eddie Garcia for more details The Green Red Barn is accessible from the city's hike and bike trail and offers paved parking, handicapped parking and access.

    Dianne Odegard, public information coordinator for Bat Conservation International, will discuss facts and myths surrounding the small mammals that share our city. Dianne is also a certified bat rehabilitator and will be bringing a Mexican free-tailed bat to the presentation. Ages 18 and up are welcome. Refreshments will be provided while they last. Anyone 18 and up is welcome.

    Informal conversational English class for English learners. Basic skills are required. There will not be formal instruction; this is a casual, comfortable way to improve your speaking fluency.
