    Pflugerville’s largest festival, the Deutschen Pfest is May 18-20, 2012 at Pfluger Park, 515 City Park Road. Deutschen Pfest is a celebration of Pflugerville’s German heritage and local community. Gates open Friday at 5 p.m. with carnival rides, vendors, food and live music. Saturday morning is the children’s parade at 10:45 a.m. down main street followed by the main parade. Next head to Pfluger Park, 515 City Park Road for festival food, booth vendors, children’s petting zoo and puppet show. Enjoy Oma and Ompah, and live music all day long. Sunday features a 5K Pfun Run walk and Kids 1 K downtown.

The Green Red Barn, is accessible from the City hike and bike trail and offers: paved parking, handicapped parking and access, restrooms, and a playground area for kids.
