Stone Hill Park is funded by the November 2014 Bond Election. The Stone Hill park was previously planned as part of the Trails Master Plan & Undeveloped Parks Study that was completed by RVi in July of 2014.
The City engaged MWM DesignGroup for the design of the Stone Hill Project. The initial Scope of Work was to provide a Preliminary Design Report (PDR) that looks at the project sites to identify opportunities and constraints (environmental, historical, cultural, etc), evaluates the previously completed Master Plans to fully vet the proposed amenities and provides updated preliminary designs and cost estimates.
Project Engineer: MWM Design Group
Construction Contractor: The Barr Company AIA
Funding comes from the 2014 Parks bond that was approved by the voters for undeveloped parkland. Construction budget is $2 million.
Project Schedule and Status
Construction is currently underway.
Please stay off the grass in the dog park as it seeds. This is very important to make sure our dog park has grass that will withstand heavy use once the park opens.
