ILL (Interlibrary Loan Requests)
Interlibrary Loan Requests at Pflugerville Public Library
To request an InterLibrary Loan you must:

  • Be an adult resident card holder
  • Have had a library card for at least 3 months
  • Be in good standing

Note: Minors cannot request Interlibrary Loan materials unless accompanied by their legal guardian.

To submit an InterLibrary Loan:

  • Log in to your library account at
  • Click on My Account
  • Scroll down to Is the library missing something? You can request that we purchase it or borrow it from another library (ILL). and click on request
  • Enter as much information as you can into the request box
  • For InterLibrary Loan enter ILL OK.
  • Hit Send Request
  • Note: The library will create an account for your in OCLC Texas Navigator (NRE) in order to borrow the item. Interlibrary loans are recorded through NRE, which tracks requests, receipt, and return of interlibrary loan items.
  • Pflugerville Public Library does not charge for InterLibrary Loan services.

There is a limit of 5 InterLibrary Loan items out per patron at a time. There is no cost for InterLibrary Loan unless the fees are $5 or greater.

Requests must be submitted online. Pflugerville Public Library cannot guarantee that they will be able to borrow certain materials. This is dependent on the lending library's policies.

If you do not hear back from staff regarding your InterLibrary Loan within 10 days, please call 512-990-6375.

Patrons who owe for damaged or lost items are not eligible until fees are paid in full.

Patrons whose damaged or lost item fees have remained unpaid for a period of 90 days are not eligible for InterLibrary Loan services until fees are paid in full and after a period of good standing for at least 3 months.

Patrons who owe fines at other libraries through their Texshare card issued by Pflugerville Public Library are not eligible for Interlibrary Loan services until those items are returned and all fines and fees have been paid to the lending library.

Patrons are responsible for lost or damaged InterLibrary Loan materials. Lost or damaged InterLibrary Loan fees will be assessed by the lending library.

Failure to return InterLibrary loan items on time or to pick up items ordered may result in the suspension of InterLibrary loan services.

TexShare Borrowers are not eligible for InterLibrary Loan services.
