Interim Chief Jessica Robledo
Jessica Robledo joined the City of Pflugerville Police Department as Interim Chief on January 6, 2017 following a ceremony held at the Pflugerville Justice Center. With 28 years of servant leadership in law enforcement and public safety and 13 years of executive and supervisory experience, Robledo comes to Pflugerville with experience across all divisions of police work. Prior to Pflugerville, Robledo served as Assistant Chief for the City of Austin Police Department. During her service she served in numerous roles including Lieutenant, Detective and Officer.

Citizen and community-based policing is evident through her numerous awards and accolades, including the Champion for Children award in October 2016, Greater SW Optimist Club Respect for Law Award, Make a Difference Award from the Junior league of Austin, and Service Above Self Award from Rotary Club of Austin. Robledo partnered with Helping Hands for Children foster home and developed the first law enforcement foster home mentorship program, called Blue Guardian, in August 2015. In addition, her involvement in the Educa Austin campaign to reach Spanish-speaking citizens and educating them about the community helped to bridge the gap between police and the Spanish-speaking community.
