Pflugerville is experiencing change. Success in law enforcement and making Pflugerville a safe city are the result of many individuals, working together. In Pflugerville, we have a strong team dedicated to providing the citizens a safe and pleasant place to live.

In 2010, Pflugerville's population reached almost 50,000 and with growth comes responsibility. The Police Department is committed to expanding services to individuals and commercial businesses in the community which is accomplished through proactive changes in policy and procedures, policing and crime prevention initiatives.

The Police Department is divided into divisions, each directed by a Lieutenant. Below you will find a listing of the Divisions and their respective leaders.

The Pflugerville Police Department and Pflugerville Independent School District work together to keep all students on PISD campuses safe, while addressing the unique requirements of campus safety and security. Beginning in the 2008 - 2009 school year, the PISD formed their own Police Department under the direction of Chief William Edwards .
