Officer Robert Kauff

Officer Robert Kauff grew up in West Virginia and Indiana. After graduation, Officer Kauff enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he was stationed in Abilene, Texas.  While serving in the Air Force, Officer Kauff was a Crew Chief on the B-1 Bomber Aircraft. He is a Veteran of the Gulf War (Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm).

After servicing  his country, Officer Kauff moved to Austin, Texas, where he attended the CAPCOG Police Academy Class #19 sponsored by the Pflugerville Police Department. He graduated June 1999, as Vice President of the class. He began his Police career with the Mustang Police Department, where he received Police Officer of the year. Officer Kauff was hired by the Pflugerville Police Department in October 2001, where he served thirteen years. He was a Patrol Officer, a Field Training Officer, a Detective, and finally spent six years as a Patrol Sergeant. Officer Kauff also helped start Pflugerville’s Motor Division by being one of the first Motor Officers for the Department. Officer Kauff holds an Advance Peace Office License, and numerous certificates, including Accident Investigator.

Officer Kauff accepted a position as a School District Officer with the Pflugerville ISD Police Department in November 2014.  He looks forward to interacting with children and hoping to be a able to make a difference in their lives.
