Officer Jeff Schaefer

Officer Jeff Schaefer was born in Cherry Point, North Carolina into a military family.  Due to the requirements of his father’s work as a US Marine, he moved in excess of 17 times before graduating high school and has lived in several states from coast to coast.  After graduating high school, Officer Schaefer attended Arizona State University and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Justice Studies.

Officer Schaefer then diverted from criminal justice to education and received his teaching certificate after two years of mathematics and educational coursework at the University of Texas at Austin.  After working as a math teacher (high school and middle school) and coach for over 13 years, Officer Schaefer left education to join the Pflugerville Police Department in December of 2010.  Officer Schaefer joined the Pflugerville ISD Police Department in November of 2012 to return to education, albeit in a different capacity.

In his free time, Officer Schaefer enjoys spending time with his family, building furniture in his shop at home, Cross fit and lifting weights.

Personal message: Discipline is choosing between what you want now and what you want most.  Set goals: physical, educational, financial, personal, spiritual – then understand that every decisions every day, good and bad, affect your ability to reach those goals.  When you miss-step on your path, right the ship, reassess necessary adjustments to your progress, then proceed ahead.

Officer Ray Garcia
Officer Ramon Garcia is a native of Corpus Christi, Texas where he attended Mary Carroll High School. Officer Garcia played football for Sul Ross State University and continues to play for an Alumni Football League.

Before beginning his career in law enforcement, Officer Garcia attended the Capitol Area Council of Government’s Police Academy and was hired by the Austin ISD Police Department. He served as a School Resource Officer at Crockett High School in 2009. Officer Garcia accepted a position with the Pflugerville ISD Police Department in 2011 and continues to serve in that capacity.

Officer Garcia’s leisure time includes spending time with his family, playing sports, and working on his 1967 Pontiac Firebird.
