Parks and Recreation
Built to provide the citizens of Pflugerville with drinking water, this
180-acre reservoir has become the city's most popular family playground.
The lake is open for fishing, swimming, jogging, canoes, kayaks and wind surfing. With seven fishing piers all around, it's a peaceful location to find that "big one" that won't get away!
Lake Pflugerville Park includes a 3-mile walking/jogging trail, playground, boat launch, pavilion and beach area. Come out and enjoy the outdoors in our backyard! (No power boats or glass bottles, please.)
Fishing is permitted for youth ages 16 and younger without a fishing permit per
Texas Park & Wildlife rules.
Happenings at Lake Pflugerville:
Lake Pflugerville Triathlon
Pflugerville Pfirecracker Pfestival
It's also a hot spot for wind surfers and kite surfers. Come out and enjoy the trail for a 5K jog!
