Site Development
Overview:
The site development process is required for all development within the city limits to ensure compliance with the applicable development standards. The process may be pursued once the property has been platted and a pre-application conference with staff has been conducted.
City Wide Regulations: Chapter 157: Unified Development Code
Central Business District Regulations: Chapter 155: Site Development Code, Subchapter B
ETJ Regulations: No City Requirements; contact Travis County Transportation and Natural Resources
Application Forms and Submittal Requirements:
Deadlines, Review Cycle and Location:
Site Development applications are accepted every Monday at noon. An application received after the deadline will not be processed until the following Monday.
Once an application is deemed complete, comments or a site development permit will be issued by staff to the applicant within 21 days. The applicant will have up to 60 days to make revisions and resubmit. To assist in expediting the process, if the applicant provides revisions within 14 days of receipt of any issued comments, a permit or additional comments will be issued by staff within 7 days. The cycle will continue until a Site Development Permit is issued.
