The city of Pflugerville operates a recycling center.  To recycle in the center you must be a resident of the city of Pflugerville or a utility customer. Please bring a valid photo ID and a recent utility statement for verification.

Alternative Recycling Suggestions
  • Plastic bags are not recycled curbside or at the recycling center. Please return these to your local grocery store. HEB and Wal-Mart collect plastic bags for recycling.

Computers and Electronics may be recycled through the state - www.texasrecyclescomputers.org. Best Buy recycles for a small fee which is reimbursed as an in-store gift card. Goodwill will take electronics delivered to a store for free (Hwy 79 in Round Rock) but not to a local drop off trailer.

  • Closed Saturday the weekend of New Year’s, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

  • Residents of Travis County may bring up to 30 gallons of home-generated hazardous waste to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility free of charge.  Over 30 gallons may generate a disposal charge.   Do not bring items in containers with more than 5 gallons of capacity.

Electronics (TV's, stereos, computers, monitors) - Recycle with Best Buy Pflugerville (TV's less than 32") -  512-990-4699. The cost is $10 and you receive a $10 gift card to Best Buy. TV's can also be taken to any Goodwill Store location.  Larger and older model TV's may be recycled at the Williamson County Landfill in Hutto (512-759-8881). 

Phonebooks - If recycled curbside, pages must be torn out of the seam, or recycle with Ecology Austin, 512-322-5129.
