Capital Improvement Projects
The Parks & Recreation Commission annually submits a five-year capital improvement plan to the City Council and City Manager, at least one hundred twenty days before the beginning of the budget year. The plan must list projects in order of preference, with a recommendation for the year of construction for each project.

Following the development of the overall list, each commissioner independently ranks the projects in priority order. Staff uses these rankings to compute the attached priority listing. The commission formally voted at the monthly meeting in May to submit these recommendations to City Council for approval.
