Department Mission

Pflugerville’s Public Works Department will deliver services in a responsive, cost efficient and effective manner to citizens of the city, by a workforce that is diverse, committed, motivated, and empowered.

Responsibilities:

Street and Roadway Maintenance
Traffic & School Crossing Signals
Maintain City Fleet
Right of Way Maintenance
Provide and monitor the city's drinking water
Manage and treat the city's wastewater system
Operate the Recycling Center
Provide the complimentary brush/limb chipping service offered to citizens.

Vision Statement
To manage a Public Works Department that maintains the most cost efficient services to the residents of Pflugerville by providing a safe, clean and healthy environment while utilizing modern technology to ensure future growth and development throughout the city.
