The Parks and Recreation Department oversees the Adopt-A-Trail Program for the city of Pflugerville. This program encourages families, neighborhoods, community or civic groups, businesses, youth groups, schools and individuals to get involved in the beautification of the trails system, by allowing partners to adopt sections of trail corridor. These civic partnerships allow citizens to take pride in their community and help keep the costs of litter collection under control.
The Adopt-A-Trail program is a two-year commitment and requirements include four annual cleanups and require trail partners to report back to the City with clean up activity reports and trail inspections.

Adopt-A-Trail Application
The city of Pflugerville trail system includes 30.5 miles of trails, and any trail maintained as a City of Pflugerville trail is eligible for adoption by a partner. Partners may select a ¼ or ½ mile trail segment. View the
Adopt-A-Trail Map to locate available trails.
Trail assignments will be made on a first-come basis. Maintenance will include litter pick up, weeding and debris removal. The Pflugerville Parks and Recreation Department will continue to provide regular maintenance to each adopted area, but will rely on assistance from each partner to provide trail inspection reports.
