  • Spring Pfling - Celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the Recreation Center with us in 2015. This family event will be held on the grounds of the facility and highlight the city's recreation programs and more. Join us on March 28, 2015.   
  • Clean Up Day  The City of Pflugerville Public Works Department has set April 11, 2015 as the next citywide date for residents to recycle and allow for proper disposal of items. Don't forget that you can recycle many ithanz ems year-round at the city Recycle Center.    
  • Deutschen Pfest  -  The city's annual pfestival celebrating Pflugerville's Heritage: music of all kinds, food, arts & crafts fair, and carnival. Run in the 5K Race, watch the parade and enjoy a weekend out at Pfluger Park. Third weekend in May each year. Next event: May 15 through May 17, 2015.


  • Pfarmers Market - The regular shopping season runs each Tuesday, May through October at the Green Red Barn. Enjoy locally grown produce and prepared foods. Special "pfestive" shopping days for the holidays on November 18 and December 16, 2014. Open also on March 10, March 24, April 7 and April 21, 2015.  
  • KIDFISH - June 6, 2015 - First Saturday in June - Bring the kids out to Lake Pflugerville for an exciting morning of fishing. The contest is catch-and-release. Prizes for the largest catches and highest fundraisers.
  • Music In The Park - Held every other Friday evenings in June, July and August -- and new in 2014: the season was extended into September and concluded with a showing of the "Sing-Along" version of "Frozen." The 2015 seven-week season begins with a Juneteenth focus on Friday, June 19.   
  • Lake Pflugerville Triathlon - Next event: June 21, 2015 - Third Weekend in June. Swim, Bike and Run! Not a runner? Come cheer on the competitors. A traditional Fathers Day event.
  • June 18, Mike Heard, Texas Black History project gives Juneteenth preview at the Library.
  • Pflugerville Pfirecracker Pfestival - NEW DATE FOR 2015! We will hold our annual Independence Day event on Friday, July 3, 2015, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. (time is subject to change). The lake will be closed to the public for setup on Thursday, July 2, 2015 and remain closed to all activity (including walkers and bike riders) until 2 p.m. on Friday, July 3. Fabulous fireworks display and activities at both shores of Lake Pflugerville. Celebrate our nation's independence with a day of fun, swimming at the beach, food, family activities, bands throughout the day and a special patriotic concert after dark! Free shuttles to and from the lake. "Ride the Bus - It's a Blast!"
  • Pfall Pfest Craft Show - Always the third Saturday in November - November 15, 2014 - Pflugerville Recreation Center, 400 Immanuel Road. The Pfall Pfest is the best place in town to start your holiday shopping or find those one-of-a-kind items for a special friend. This juried show brings in the best-of-the-best vendors with a variety of quality handmade crafts. The vendor application process begins each year in late August.
  • Pfestive Pfarmers Market - Special holiday shopping days for the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. Tuesday, November 3 & 17, 2015, and Tuesday, December 1 & 15, 2015 at the Green Red Barn, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • National Night Out - October 6, 2015 - Go outside and meet your neighbors! Register your party with the City and we'll come visit!        
  • Pfall Chili Pfest - Third weekend in October - October 17, 2015 - Who is the best chili cook in Pflugerville? Get out your chili pot and enter your own special recipe! The popular "Jalapeno Eating Contest" returns for a third year in a row. A Pinewood Derby race was introduced in 2014. You just might own those bragging rights for the People's Choice and top cook awards! Lots of Pfun and Pfood in Downtown Pflugerville. 12 p.m. - 7 p.m.  

  • Christmas Parade & Pfestival of Lights:  In 2014, the city combined the annual Holidays at Heritage Park event with the traditional Knights of Columbus Christmas Parade downtown and held the event on Saturday, Dec. 13. It was an evening on Main Street filled with holiday floats, hot chocolate, carolers, Yule log and more. Watch for the 2015 date to be announced.
  • Pfreeze Pflop  January 1, 2016. Are you brave enough to kick off your new year with a ride down the slide at Scott Mentzer Pool at this fifth annual event? (No, it isn't heated!) 10 a.m. Admission is a can of food to be donated to the local pfood bank.
