Volunteers Needed for Pflugerville Police Department Victim Services
The Pflugerville Police Department is currently accepting applications for Victim Services volunteers.
These volunteers perform critical work assisting victims of family violence, sexual assault, child victims, elderly victims, survivors of suicide and homicide, and victims of other violent crimes. Those interested must attend a mandatory orientation session on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 7 p.m. at the Pflugerville Justice Center located at 1611 E. Pfennig Lane. This session will provide an in-depth look into the work of a victim services volunteer.
Training classes will be held at the Justice Center from 7-9:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays for eight weeks beginning Monday, February 11, 2019.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age to apply.
