Register your security alarm permit with the Police Department
The City of Pflugerville Alarm Permit helps the Police Department know how to contact a resident or commercial business owner in case of an alarm at a residence or business. Pflugerville City Ordinance (Pflugerville Code of Ordinances - Chapter 97) requires all residents and businesses who have an alarm, whether monitored or not, to obtain an alarm permit from the City. The permit form includes contact information for two authorized people for the police to notify if the police respond to an alarm and find an emergency on the premises.
Permits are needed for banking institutions and businesses and residential homes. Permits can be obtained at the Pflugerville Justice Center or on the city website. Please renew and/or register your alarm system. When you register, you will be prompted to sign up to be notified when your permit is due for renewal. Alarm permits are only issued to residents who live in the city limits.
Permits expire on December 31 of each year. Individuals are responsible for renewing their permit each year with a new application. Submit Alarm Permit Forms and Renewals online www.pflugervilletx.gov/alarmpermit or mail or hand deliver the application to:
