Map of Swenson Farms PRV installation

Utility construction along Swenson Farms Blvd. to begin February

A water utility improvement project along Swenson Farms Blvd. is slated to begin in February to install pressure reducing valves (PRV) for the neighborhood.  Two PRVs will be installed on Swenson Farms Blvd. on either end of the neighborhood; one just south of Black Locust Dr. and one just north of Pfennig Ln.  This project will provide protection against water pressure surges that may occur while the nearby elevated storage tank is undergoing maintenance.

During construction, one side of Swenson Farms Blvd. will be closed in the immediate vicinity for several days while valve vaults are installed in the street.  Temporary water outages may occur for no more than 4 hours at a time and all effort will be made to provide ample notice prior to any outage.

Any questions should be directed to CIP Engineering at 512-990-6409 or
