City highlights 2019 accomplishments in the Year in Review

If you ever wonder what your City is up to, check out the 2019 Year in Review to see all the projects completed in 2019. From investments of new roadway projects, water line and maintenance projects
to new parks and programs, the City spent 2019 working hard for you. Weiss Lane construction is complete, the City opened a new playscape at Bohls Park, expanded swim lessons into the fall, added new camps, offered more e-resources at the Library, and even a care cabinet to help those in need. The new animal intake building at Animal Welfare Services opened and the Best Little Plaza in Texas opened downtown. The Police Department expanded programming to reach the Latino community with Café con la Policia. What's coming in 2020? The City’s budgeted projects include additional roadway expansions including Old Austin Hutto Road repairs and Kelly Lane. Park improvements include Wilbarger Creek Park, Lake Pflugerville Park north shore upgrades and a Splash Pad at Stone Hill Park. The City is working on a citywide comprehensive plan, Downtown Utilities Inventory and Location Analysis, American Disabilities Act Transition Plan, Traffic Signal Study and more.
