Post Date:06/29/2020 10:00 AM

Essential staff at Pflugerville Public Library, Pflugerville Animal Welfare Services, Recreation Center and City offices will not be working on-site on Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day. While many facilities are already closed to the public due to COVID-19, staff will not be answering phones during this time. Trash and recycling pickup will not be affected. If you have a water issue when the city is closed, call the Police Department nonemergency line at 512-990-6700. For all emergencies, please call 911.

No personal fireworks in city limits

To keep our neighborhoods and open areas safe this Independence Day, the City of Pflugerville is fireworks-free. All personal fireworks, including sparklers, are illegal within city limits. Leave fireworks to the professionals by watching the show launched from Typhoon Texas on July 4. Learn more about the show at pflugervilletx.gov/pfirecracker.
