Planning & Engineering Applications

Zoning, subdivision, construction plans and site development applications

Beginning, Monday, March 23, 2020, all applications shall be submitted online.  Click here for a step by step guide for submittal of rezoning, subdivisions, site development and construction plan applications online.  Resubmittals of projects should be submitted online as well.

Technical Note: The “Applicant” listed in the application is the individual that will receive any comments generated during review and will be the direct point of contact by the City. If the person submitting the application and uploading documents is different than the person planned to be listed as the “Applicant”, then the “Applicant” will need to create the log in information and provide that to the person uploading the application.
Ex. Engineer of Firm X is the anticipated point of contact but an admin of Firm X is submitting the application. If the admin submits the application, the admin will become the listed applicant for the submittal and all contact will be directed to the admin. Accounts can also be linked by using the same phone across multiple accounts.

Residential Building Permit Submittals:

Commercial Building Permit Submittals: Submit via email drop box link to Commercial permits will be issued after Pre-cons which will be scheduled through Diana and held on site.   Plans not requiring impact fees can pay permit and trade fees online.  Permits can be printed from  If impact fees are required, checks should be mailed to PO Box 589, Pflugerville, Tx 78691.  Permits will be issued after fees are received and permits can be printed from

Building Inspection Department – Your resource for permits and code information for new building construction, floodplain management, sign permits, remodels, alterations, and effective January 1, 2013, health and food safety inspections for food service establishments and schools. Email:

Development Engineering Department – Your resource for permits and information regarding public infrastructure, floodplain management, and stormwater quality and responsible for public infrastructure construction plan and site plan review and inspection. Email:

Planning Department – Your resource for initiating your development process assuring consistency with adopted plans and regulations and responsible for the administration of subdivision plat and site plan review, rezoning applications, variances and long-range planning functions including annexation, demographics, and GIS.
