Joint Study with City of Pflugerville, Travis County and Bastrop County

The City of Pflugerville has partnered with Travis County, Bastrop County and the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) to perform a flood protection planning study to model and map the floodplain for Wilbarger Creek.  Deliverables will include floodplain mapping, flood risk determination, flood mitigation evaluation and a final report.  The study is being conducted by Halff.

The City hosted an open house for Travis County residents at the Pflugerville Public Library on October 16, 2019.  The Powerpoint presentation from the open house is available here.  The study sponsors are soliciting public input to help identify flooding areas, obtain flooding photos and videos and to define flooding hot spots to develop mitigation solutions.  Please submit photos and videos along with a map or other location identification and your name and contact information to projects@pflugervilletx.gov
