City Council authorized a May bond election for $96.7 million
City Council reviewed three bond proposals from the 2020 Capital Improvement Bond Committee for voter consideration. Council authorized a transportation bond for $96.7 million for voter consideration in May. Parks and Recreation projects were reserved for future ballot consideration in November.

El consejo municipal reviso tres propuestas de bonos para consideracion de los votantes y autorizó un propuesta de bonos de transportación por $96.7 millones para consideración de los votantes en mayo. Los proyectos de parques y recreación se reservaron para futuras votaciones en noviembre. 

Road projects include

  • City intersection improvements  $14.4 million
    • SH 130 at CR 138; E Pflugerville Pkwy. at FM 685; Heatherwilde Blvd. at Pecan St.; FM 685 at Pecan St.; FM 685/Copper Mine Dr. Overpass; Hodde/Weiss at Cele Rd.
  • City neighborhood street reconstruction / $15.6 million
    • 10th Street, Algreg Street, Applewood Drive, Bushmills Road, Butler National Drive/Diablo Drive, Caldwells Lane, Cedar Ridge Drive, Dalshank Road, Edgemere Drive, Grand National Avenue, Great Basin, Kay Lane, Lincoln Avenue, Mashburn Street, Meadow Creek Drive, Mountain View Drive, Oak Ridge Drive, Picadilly Drive, Plumbago Drive, Rowe Lane, Russell Street, Sullivan Street, Taylor Avenue, W. Custers Creek Bend, Windermere Drive, Yellow Sage Street.
  • Immanuel Road – $8.9 million to widen to an urban three-lane roadway.
  • FM 685 corridor improvements – $5.0 million for a corridor study and preliminary engineering and design. The project includes lane alignment, right-of-way acquisition, utility relocation and coordination and surveying.
  • SH 45 frontage roads – $9.4 million to connect frontage road gaps.
  • Kelly Lane Phase 3 – $13.6 million to widen to an urban four-lane section.
  • Pfluger Farm Lane North – $5.3 million to extend the urban three-lane roadway north to SH 45.
  • Main Street -$1.6 million for engineering and design for a future urban two-lane section.
  • Central Commerce Drive – $5.1 million to widen to an urban three-lane section
  • Picadilly Drive – $4.9 million to widen to an urban three-lane section.
  • Cameron Road – $3.4 million for a two-lane urban section from the Pecan Street and Weiss Lane intersection to Cameron Road South.
  • East Pflugerville Parkway – $3.5 million for engineering and design to create a four-lane, divided street between Colorado Sand Drive and Weiss Lane.
  • East Pecan Street – $4.0 million for preliminary engineering and design to widen to six lanes across SH 130.
