The City of Pflugerville Human Resources Department provides personnel support and policy direction on human resources management issues. The department strives to attract and retain the finest talent who share in the City’s vision. In addition to recruitment and selection of both full-time and part-time employees, the HR department screens applicants, develops the job classification system, maintains records, and oversees grievance resolution, the Employee Assistance Program, and employee performance evaluations. Also, the department manages employee benefit programs, coordinates the workers’ compensation program, evaluates and maintains a competitive compensation program, and oversees the employee safety, risk management, and wellness programs.
